Practice & Cases

Cardiothoracic surgery first assist with CVICU and telemetry rounding

Approximately 75 percent CABG and 25 percent valve and aortic surgery

Endoscopic vein harvesting experience required

Approximately 20-30 surgeries per month with at least four providers per shift
Schedule

Monday through Friday daytime coverage

Rotating weekends as needed

Minimum six nights of call per month

Night and weekend call coverage as needed
Requirements

Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Active Florida license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification

Physician Assistant certification or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification accepted

Endoscopic vein harvesting certification preferred
