Join our summer photography team and learn various facets of photography with Upstate Images. The best applicants will be ready to jump right into whatever roles that need filling and will be training in late August to photograph our Fall school program.
Upstate Images is a nationally recognized, award‑winning school photography company capturing students across New York State and the Carolina's. With busy studios in Binghamton, Albany, Syracuse, Buffalo, New Paltz, and Charlotte, NC, we are looking for energetic, friendly, and talented creatives who are ready to bring their skills to Upstate Images. Applicants may come with a portfolio, solid technical studio knowledge, and the leadership skills to help guide students and support the team, however this role is for inexperienced individuals as well. What we expect from you:
- Experience working with students, Pre-K - Grade 12
- A passion for portrait photography
- Energy that has an impact on your co-workers and the students you’re working with
- Willingness to work a varied schedule, including early mornings and extended days as necessary
- Reliable, insured vehicle and U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift and operate camera equipment - up to 40 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Strong customer service skills
