Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Hardscape / Mason Superintendent to join our team in the Rochester area.
Overview
The ideal candidate will have experience leading crews and overseeing hardscape and masonry projects while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Qualified applicants must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, basic reading and comprehension skills, the ability to work at multiple job sites, and a solid understanding of masonry and construction fundamentals. Candidates should be able to read and interpret construction drawings and have at least three years of experience in the landscape or construction industry, including a minimum of one year managing crews of 2–3 employees. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Responsibilities
- Meet with designers regarding projects and provide updates daily
- Leading and managing the on-site masonry/landscape team and ensuring quality standards are met
- Following the project timeline and daily schedule to ensure deadlines are met
- Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness
- Be able to work in all weather and with various materials
- Following blueprints to specifications and using laser levels
- Operation of small hand tools to large skid steers, backhoes, and excavator
- Installing all kinds of masonry block of all sizes
- Installing stone veneer, brick and dressed stone
- Use techniques such as: grinding and tuck pointing, cutting, shaping, & dressing materials
- Cement work: form placing, rebar, placement of bolts, pouring, mixing, finishing, surfacing
- Maintaining tools & workspaces
- Lifting, carrying, and placing prepared blocks
- Texturing and polishing blocks of stone
- Work with snowplow team during weather events
Requirements
- Applicant must possess a valid driver license
- Must be organized, goal driven and independent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience and 2 references required
Schedule
- 10-hour shift
- Day Shift, Monday - Friday, Saturday as needed

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
