We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Apartment Maintenance / Make-Ready Technician to join our team at a large apartment community in the St. Petersburg / Gandy area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all apartment fixtures are operating efficiently and safely. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair all facets of apartment make-ready & maintenance
- Trouble-shooting and repair of HVAC systems
- Manage service requests with efficiency
- Execute residential painting and other aesthetic improvements as required.
- Fabricate components as necessary to support maintenance operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients and staff.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various systems.
- HVAC certification preferred but not required
- Experience in supervising maintenance staff or projects is a plus.
- Plumbing & electrical skills
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance best practices.
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions with clients.
- Experience in residential painting techniques is advantageous.
- Capable of fabricating parts or components as needed for repairs.
