Core Responsibilities

Mobility & Transfers: Provide stand-by ambulation support, safely manage client weight during transfers, and utilize gait belts and sit-to-stand devices as needed.

Daily Living Support: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation/eating.

Safety & Care Planning: Follow the custom Plan of Care, monitor for fall risks, and maintain a safe, secure home environment.

Companionship: Deliver meaningful social engagement, positive interaction, and emotional support.
Minimum Qualifications Summary

Experience & Skills: Minimum 1 year of senior care/caregiving experience (agency, facility, or private). Proficiency with transfer equipment (gait belts, sit-to-stand, Hoyer lifts) is required. Dementia or personal care experience is a plus.

Licensing & Transportation: Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.

Physical Requirements: Ability to assist with client body weight, perform physical transfers, lift at least 25 lbs, and handle extended 12-hour shifts.

Soft Skills & Professionalism: Strong communication and organizational skills, open to feedback, safety-focused, punctual, and compassionate.

Operational Readiness: Able to follow a client's Plan of Care and remain easily reachable by phone or email for scheduling and emergencies.

Certifications: CNA license preferred, but not required.

Pet Compatibility: Must be an animal lover who is comfortable working inside homes with pets present.
