What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts according to post instructions.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Monitor entry points, screen visitors according to site procedures, and support compliance with restricted-area rules and other security-related policies.

Assist with alarms, medical-related calls for assistance, and/or other urgent situations by following post orders, directing people appropriately, and contacting supervisors and/or emergency services when needed.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
