Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute remodeling projects.
- Install building materials such as tile, masonry, cabinetry, fixtures, and flooring with precision and adherence to specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various installation tasks including framing, caulking, plastering, stucco application, gutter installation, and tile laying.
- Conduct dimensional measurements and follow blueprint specifications meticulously to ensure proper fit and finish.
- Perform construction inspection and quality checks throughout each phase of the remodel to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure remodeling work aligns with expectations and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols on all construction sites.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction site work, including remodeling projects across residential or commercial settings.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other equipment essential for building material installation.
- Knowledge of construction management practices and estimating processes is a plus.
- Strong background in tile masonry, carpentry (including framing), masonry work, plastering, stucco application, caulking, gutter installation, and fixture/cabinet installation.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam software for digital plan review is advantageous.
- Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately using tape measures or other tools.
- Experience with construction inspection procedures ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients during project updates or questions.
