Overview
The Engine Room Advisor requires at least 15 years of government acquisition experience of which 5 years shall include duties/assignments specifically in support of space programs. Master’s degree in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, and Science Technology, Engineering, or Statistics.

The applicant will perform strategic planning and policy implementation for the Commander at the United States Space Force (USSF) Innovation and Prototyping (SZI) Acquisition Delta .
This includes creating new organizational concepts, assessing unit impacts in technical, financial, and morale dimensions as well as integration impacts to the enterprise.
The applicant will be responsible for developing Space Force and mission level acquisition strategies, plans, and concepts to support customers’ strategic and tactical objectives.
The applicant will create new visions and messaging for the organization and cross-cutting concepts for improving portfolio management.

Applicant should be proficient in the use of M/S office applications, i.e., M/S Outlook, Project, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Excel.
Superior verbal communication, written, and quantitative analytical skills are required.
Applicant must be able to create, cultivate, and communicate innovative concepts and Courses of Action (COAs) anchored by expert analysis developed by the applicant.
Extensive program management experience, strategic communication/planning experience, and senior-level government space acquisition experience.
Material Leader experience and/or successful completion of DAU’s PMT 401 is highly desired.
Possess strong knowledge of the DoD protocol, acquisition, operational, and project management processes and policies.
A top-secret level clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
