Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Job Description
The Manufacturing Technician develops and executes high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing solutions and services that meet customer requirements. This role focuses on building a strong technical specialty within manufacturing, applying process improvements, and performing troubleshooting to support efficient production. The technician uses appropriate tools and documentation to support manufacturing processes, demonstrates an intermediate understanding of how their work supports full product requirements and specifications, and works independently in alignment with good manufacturing practices while providing direct support to production line operators.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute manufacturing solutions and services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and aligned with customer requirements.

Establish and deepen an area of technical specialty within the manufacturing discipline and apply that expertise to daily work.

Apply process improvement techniques and troubleshooting methods to resolve issues and optimize manufacturing processes.

Utilize appropriate tools, equipment, and software to perform work, including the creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes, or production outputs.

Create, review, and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation and records to support consistent and compliant production.

Demonstrate an intermediate, discipline-specific understanding of manufacturing processes, product requirements, and specifications, and how they integrate into the full manufacturing workflow.

Collaborate with cross-discipline teams or suppliers, as needed, to support manufacturing activities and ensure alignment with product specifications.

Execute responsibilities independently in accordance with good manufacturing practices and established manufacturing processes.

Provide hands-on support and technical guidance to direct production line operators, assisting with process-related questions, issues, and improvements.

Support and maintain High Level Assembly (HLA) manufacturing processes to ensure consistent product quality and performance.

Identify and escalate manufacturing issues in a timely manner and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, quality, efficiency, and reliability in manufacturing operations.
Essential Skills

Proven experience in troubleshooting manufacturing processes and resolving production issues.

Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, preferably in an electronics or related environment.

Knowledge of electronics and their application within manufacturing operations.

Intermediate understanding of full manufacturing processes, product requirements, and specifications.

Ability to utilize appropriate tools to create, analyze, and verify manufacturing documentation, programs, models, and processes.

Demonstrated ability to work independently while following good manufacturing practices and established procedures.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and process execution.

Effective communication skills to support and collaborate with production line operators and cross-functional teams.

Associate’s Degree with 2 or more years of related experience is preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge and practical experience in High Level Assembly (HLA) manufacturing processes.

Experience supporting direct production line operators in a manufacturing setting.

Familiarity with process improvement methodologies within a manufacturing environment.

Ability to coordinate with cross-discipline teams or suppliers to support manufacturing activities.

Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Experience in electronics manufacturing or a related technical field is beneficial.

The Manufacturing Technician works closely with production line operators and cross-functional teams, using appropriate tools and equipment to support documentation, programs, models, and production activities. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Neenah, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
