- Pay Range: $36.00 - $44.50 hourly
- Schedule: Monday–Friday – no weekends, no holidays, no call
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Contract Length: 2026 - 2027 School Year
- Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly
- Preferred: Valid Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing license, willing to obtain STATE licensure
- Requirements: Years of experience as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (specify years if available), Valid license
Responsibilities:
- Provide essential support and specialized care to students in educational settings.
- From IEP meetings to direct therapy or nursing care, your role will have a lasting impact on the well-being and development of students throughout the academic year.
- Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to ensure students receive services tailored to their individual needs.
- Provide treatment for students with various communication disorders such as articulation, language, and fluency.
- Conduct speech and language evaluations.
- Write and implement goals and objectives for IEPs.
- Collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team and provide classroom support.
- Work with children in a variety of classroom settings and provide additional services depending on the needs of the student population.
