Responsibilities
- Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patients’ health by observing vital signs, medication administration, and overall condition, ensuring adherence to care plans and safety protocols
- Provide compassionate care and support
- Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring proper food safety standards are maintained
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning living areas, laundry, and maintaining a hygienic environment for residents
- Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies
Skills
- We will provide on the job training for the right candidates/ Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home environments
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring to detect changes in health status
- Ability to perform CPR and first aid confidently in emergency situations
- Strong understanding of medication administration procedures
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams
- Physical stamina for standing and being on feet for several hours at a time
- Familiarity with HIPAA privacy standards and confidentiality protocols
- Compassionate approach to dementia care, hospice care, and social work principles when supporting residents’ emotional well-being
