Responsibilities:
-Ability to work in both commercial and residential projects on retrofit/upfit projects.
-Ability to troubleshoot/service calls.
-Must have a clean drivers license.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as framers and carpenters, to complete projects.
- Must have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide solutions quickly.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential electrical hazards or code violations.
- Flexibility to work over time when needed.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- MUST have a good work ethic.
Qualifications:
-Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of consecutive, verifiable employment as an electrician.
-Ability to complete a residential/commercial project from start to finish with little supervision.
-Strong skills in commercial and residential wiring in finished spaces.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting heavy objects.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
-Great communication skills is a must.
