As a Delivery Ambassador Plus, you are both a brand ambassador on the road and a supportive, customer-friendly presence in the store. You take pride in knowing that every delivery represents a birthday, anniversary, thank-you, celebration, or “just because” moment—and you approach each interaction with warmth and care.
Purpose
The Delivery Ambassador Plus ensures Edible products are delivered on time, in perfect condition, and with heart—while supporting in-store operations and customer interactions that make each gifting moment special.
You play a direct role in creating joy, whether you’re handing a delivery to a recipient, helping wrap an arrangement, or greeting a customer at the front counter during a busy holiday rush.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery, Routing & Brand Representation
- Deliver Edible products efficiently, accurately, and courteously using personal vehicle
- Coordinate delivery routes to ensure timely and organized deliveries
- Load, secure, and transport products carefully to maintain quality and presentation
- Organize and manage delivery tickets by route or area
- Log delivery progress using store systems or mobile applications
- Communicate proactively with the store team regarding delivery status or issues
- Represent the Edible® brand with professionalism, friendliness, and pride in the community
- Drivers with a 90-day solid performance in delivering with excellence, safe driving, and supporting the team could qualify to drive the company Edible Van in place of their vehicle.
Customer Experience & Gifting Moments
- Interact with delivery recipients in a friendly, upbeat, and respectful manner
- Understand that each delivery represents a meaningful occasion and help create a “WOW” experience
- Demonstrate genuine care and positivity when engaging with customers and recipients
- Take pride in being part of moments that celebrate love, appreciation, and life’s milestones
Delivery Ambassador Plus: In-Store & Operational Support
When not actively on deliveries, the Driver Plus will:
- Assist with wrapping and packaging arrangements
- Support basic prep or production tasks as directed, like blowing balloons or building boxes.
- Help maintain clean, organized workspaces
- Take out trash, break down boxes, and assist with general store cleanliness
- Remain flexible and open-minded—jumping in where help is needed to keep operations running smoothly
Requirements
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Valid State Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Has a vehicle in good, clean condition and AC is working (Required)
- During working hours and while delivering, vehicle must be smoke-free, no exceptions.
- If approved, comfortable driving a company-provided delivery van
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to assist with non-driving tasks and customer-facing duties
- Ability to stay positive and professional during fast-paced, high-volume periods
Highly Preferred:
- Prior delivery, courier, retail, or customer service experience
- Comfort interacting with customers in person and over the phone
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or push items weighing up to 40–50 lbs
- Ability to sit and drive for extended periods (up to 80–85% of shift when needed)
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and carrying
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
