Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and Pizza Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced kitchen, contributing to the creation of high-quality pizzas and ensuring exceptional food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients with precision
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
- Ensure all food handling procedures meet health department standards
- Support meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed
- Serve food promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Requirements
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Excellent teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in food quality
- Prior experience in catering, serving, or the food industry is desirable
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
