Overview
We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable 1st and 2nd Shift Assemblers along with Shipping and Receiving Associates to join our dynamic warehouse team. These roles are essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing, assembly, and distribution processes. Successful candidates will play a vital part in assembling products, managing inventory, and coordinating shipping logistics to meet customer demands efficiently. Responsibilities
- Assemble products accurately according to detailed specifications and quality standards
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and effectively
- Manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems and inventory management software
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision to ensure timely delivery
- Load and unload shipments, verifying contents against shipping documents
- Maintain accurate data entry related to order processing, stock levels, and shipping logs
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations and company policies during shipping and receiving processes
- Utilize ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms for order fulfillment and inventory tracking
- Support warehouse operations by stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and maintaining cleanliness
- Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize shipping logistics and reduce delays
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits to uphold stock accuracy
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to order status or shipment issues
Skills
- Proven experience with warehouse operations including picking & packing, order fulfillment, and inventory management software
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (e.g., AS400), and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements
- Familiarity with shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and e-commerce platforms
- Skilled in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records
- Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards
- Knowledge of packaging procedures, order picking techniques, and load/unload processes
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members across different shifts and departments
