About the Role
We are a fast-growing physician practice looking for an experienced, hands-on Billing Manager to lead our Revenue Cycle department.
We need a player-coach who can manage and develop the billing team while also stepping in to solve complex billing, denial, and accounts receivable issues when needed.
The right candidate will enjoy improving processes, building accountability, and producing measurable financial results.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily billing and Revenue Cycle operations.
- Manage, coach, and train billing team members.
- Monitor collections, AR, denials, and team performance.
- Review aging reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Resolve complex billing and reimbursement issues.
- Improve billing workflows and create SOPs.
- Hold team members accountable for quality and productivity.
- Hire and onboard new employees.
- Report results and concerns to leadership.
- Assist with credentialing and payer enrollment when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong medical billing and Revenue Cycle experience.
- Previous billing management or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of claims, AR, denials, appeals, payment posting, and collections.
- Experience improving collections or reducing denials and AR.
- Strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing remote teams is preferred.
- Physician-practice experience is preferred.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
