Job Summary
We're seeking experienced HVAC Inspectors (1099 Contractors) to perform independent, conflict-of-interest-free inspections of HVAC systems across the Greater Chicagoland area. As an inspector, you'll evaluate HVAC systems on-site, document your findings using our digital reporting tools, and communicate professionally with adjusters and property owners.
Duties
- Inspect HVAC systems and components, and test functionality and performance
- Take clear, well-labeled photos documenting unit condition and any damage
- Write concise, accurate inspection reports electronically using our digital forms
- Communicate professionally with insurance adjusters and property owners on-site
- Maintain a presentable, professional appearance when representing the company at client sites
- Be open to taking on additional installation, maintenance, or repair jobs through our network
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Licenses (Type II and Type III/Universal)
- Comfortable using digital tools, online forms, and writing reports electronically
- Your own tools and a vehicle
- General liability insurance (or willing to obtain it)
