About us
Highpoint Health – Trousdale with Ascension Saint Thomas, formerly Trousdale Medical Center, is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering an extensive range of in-patient, outpatient and emergency services for adults and children. Critical access hospital simply means that the hospital is critical in providing healthcare to our community.
How you'll contribute
As a Patient Care Technician joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. This includes:

Assisting patients with performing activities of daily living

Providing or assisting with providing direct patient care
-
Observing and recording patient behavior and activities
-
Reporting any changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggesting modifications to treatment plans

Assisting with POC testing and EKGs as needed
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required
-
State of TN CNA license preferred, can be considered without high school diploma or equivalent
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
-
1 year certified nurse tech or EMT experience preferred
