Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of milling machinery and support equipment to optimize production flow
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery, identify issues, and perform basic repairs or coordinate repairs with maintenance teams
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely to move raw materials, finished products, and supplies around the facility
- Support food processing activities by ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to safety standards throughout the production area
- Manage inventory of raw materials, supplies, and finished goods, ensuring accurate documentation and storage
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, food safety regulations, and workplace safety guidelines
- Collaborate with team members across departments to meet daily production goals efficiently
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or tube mill environment
- Proven ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and overhead crane
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes is highly desirable
- Prior experience in production and/or manufacturing is a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent safety awareness and compliance skills

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
