Franchise Auditor & Trainer
Overview
Chocolate Bash is seeking a highly organized, hands-on, and detail-oriented Franchise Auditor & Trainer to support the success of our growing franchise network. This role is responsible for ensuring all franchise locations operate according to Chocolate Bash brand standards by conducting operational audits, providing in-store training, coaching managers and employees, and supporting new store openings.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, operational excellence, and developing teams. This position requires frequent travel to franchise locations and the ability to build strong relationships while maintaining high company standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled and surprise operational audits at franchise locations to ensure compliance with Chocolate Bash brand standards, operational procedures, food safety regulations, and company policies.
- Evaluate customer service, product quality, cleanliness, inventory management, labor practices, and overall store performance.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, action plans, and follow-up recommendations.
- Train franchise owners, managers, and team members on Chocolate Bash operating procedures, recipes, POS systems, customer service standards, and daily operations.
- Assist with new store openings by providing on-site operational support and employee training.
- Identify operational deficiencies and coach franchise teams on best practices to improve efficiency, consistency, and guest experience.
- Monitor compliance with food safety, sanitation, health department requirements, and workplace safety procedures.
- Conduct follow-up visits to verify corrective actions have been completed.
- Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Corporate Leadership to ensure consistent execution of company initiatives.
- Maintain accurate training records, audit documentation, and operational reports.
- Assist with creating and updating training materials, operational manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support franchisees with ongoing operational questions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Travel to franchise locations as needed throughout assigned territories.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in restaurant operations, franchise support, hospitality management, or multi-unit management.
- Experience conducting operational audits or quality assurance inspections is preferred.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, sanitation, inventory control, and labor management.
- Excellent coaching, training, and leadership skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify operational issues and provide practical solutions.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and conducting hands-on training sessions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Experience with POS systems (Toast preferred) is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with franchise businesses.
- ServSafe Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience opening new restaurant locations.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to travel frequently, including overnight travel when necessary.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when supporting store openings or special projects.

As a Franchise Auditor & Trainer, you will play a key role in protecting the Chocolate Bash brand by ensuring every location delivers the same exceptional guest experience. You'll work closely with franchise owners and their teams to provide guidance, accountability, and hands-on support that drives operational excellence and long-term success.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
