We are a growing wholesale beauty and cosmetics company seeking a talented and experienced Cosmetics Packaging & Product Designer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing cosmetics and beauty products, packaging, CADs, and detailed tech packs and will understand how to take a product from initial concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design innovative and trend-right cosmetics, beauty products, and packaging
- Create detailed CAD drawings and product renderings for presentations and production
- Develop complete and accurate tech packs for factories and vendors
- Create packaging concepts, layouts, graphics, colorways, and artwork
- Prepare production-ready files, including specifications, dimensions, colors, materials, finishes, and packaging details
- Work across categories including color cosmetics, skincare, bath & body, beauty tools, accessories, and gift sets
- Research beauty, packaging, color, and retail trends and translate them into commercially viable product concepts
- Work closely with product development, sales, production, and overseas factories
- Make revisions based on buyer, customer, and production feedback
- Develop presentation boards and product concepts for major retail customers
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional design experience, preferably within cosmetics, beauty, personal care, or beauty packaging
- Strong experience creating CADs and detailed tech packs
- Strong understanding of cosmetic packaging and production
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; additional 3D/CAD software experience is a plus
- Ability to create accurate technical drawings and factory-ready specifications
- Strong eye for color, typography, packaging, branding, and current beauty trends
- Understanding of materials, finishes, printing techniques, and packaging construction
- Experience working with overseas factories and vendors is a plus
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Applicants must submit a portfolio demonstrating relevant cosmetics/beauty work. We are particularly interested in seeing examples of:
- Cosmetic and beauty packaging
- CAD drawings
- Tech packs
- Product development
- Packaging graphics and layouts
- Finished products that have gone into production

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, technically strong designer who understands both the creative and production sides of the beauty industry and wants to help develop exciting products for major retailers.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
