Fireflies Academy is looking for a warm, energetic, and dependable teacher to join our team working with our wonderful 1- and 2-year-old classroom.
This position is temporary, with the opportunity to become a permanent full-time position for the right person. We're looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood, enjoys creating meaningful relationships with children, and thrives in a team environment.
Position Details
- Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Temporary position with potential for long-term employment
- Caring for and teaching children ages 1-2 years
- Competitive pay based on experience
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment.
- Supervise and care for toddlers throughout the day.
- Implement age-appropriate learning activities, art, music, sensory play, and outdoor experiences.
- Support children's social, emotional, language, and physical development.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom.
- Communicate professionally with families and coworkers.
- Follow all Ohio childcare licensing and health & safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with young children or in a childcare setting (preferred but not required)
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
