Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in a clinic-based setting
- Implement individualized treatment plans and skill acquisition programs designed by a supervising Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect accurate, consistent data and complete session documentation in a timely
manner
- Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and team members to support client progress
- Maintain a safe, structured, and positive therapeutic environment during all sessions
- Adhere to BACB ethical guidelines, ABA Journey policies, and HIPAA requirements
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule
- Pay Range: $21.60 – $26.10/hour (in-clinic rate)
- Pay advances automatically each year – no performance review or negotiation required
- Shifts: Based on clinic hours and client scheduling needs
- Location: Stockbridge, Georgia
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications
- Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing with the BACB
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children with autism is a plus
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-first attitude
- Physical ability to engage actively in clinic-based sessions (kneeling, moving quickly, etc.)
