Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen interest in the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and assisting with any needs that may arise during their visit.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including operating the cash register and processing payments.
- Assist guests with menu selections, answering questions about ingredients and preparation methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
- Provide excellent guest services by anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations within the dining environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register or POS system.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, especially in high-pressure situations such as nightclubs or busy restaurants.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, demonstrating a willingness to help guests with any inquiries or issues that arise.
