Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport waste and recyclable materials. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate roll-off trucks to pick up and deliver containers at designated locations.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding schedules and any issues that arise.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving in various conditions.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to various types of trucks including roll-off, front loader, rear loader, dump truck, flatbed, and tractor-trailer.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively.
- Experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance with regulations.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
