Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in toddlers
- Lead classroom activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and active learning through play-based methods
- Manage daily classroom routines, including meal times, nap schedules, and hygiene practices to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
- Apply behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, needs, and developmental milestones effectively
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality classroom management and instructional delivery
- Incorporate early intervention strategies when necessary to support children with special educational needs or developmental delays
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early childhood education
- Proven experience in classroom management within preschool or daycare settings, especially with toddlers
- Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education tailored for early learners
- Ability to work effectively with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and enthusiasm
- Familiarity with special education principles and early intervention techniques for diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners
- Proficiency in behavior management strategies and classroom organization techniques
- Experience with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment
- Background in childcare or daycare environments with preschool experience preferred
