Job Summary

Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive music curricula tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels, incorporating elements of curriculum development and lesson planning
- Deliver engaging, interactive lessons in singing, instrumental performance, or music theory that motivate students to excel
- Manage classroom environments effectively to promote respectful behavior and active participation through classroom management techniques
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement
- Organize performances, recitals, or showcases that celebrate student achievements and build confidence in public speaking and performance skills
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching music across various age groups
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies
- Ability to work effectively with children and students with special education needs or behavioral challenges
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and techniques for working with young learners
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a positive classroom atmosphere
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in music education or related fields are mandatory

Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
