Job Description: As an HVAC Technician at Peters Heating and Air Conditioning, you will play a key role in providing top-notch HVAC services to our customers. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and/or repairing various HVAC systems, ensuring their optimal performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and local codes.
- Collaborate with customers to provide expert advice and solutions to meet their specific HVAC needs.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Continuously improve technical knowledge and stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician
- HVAC certification or relevant trade school diploma.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
- Ability to diagnose and repair various HVAC equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and occasionally in tight spaces.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work on rooftops when necessary.
