Join our dynamic team as a Bike Manager, where you will lead the operation and management of our bike rental and sales services. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of bike rental, sales, and maintenance operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Lead and motivate a team of staff members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to promote excellence in guest service
- Manage shift schedules, assign tasks, and oversee daily operational workflows to meet business goals
- Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment to ensure availability and safety standards are upheld
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and deliver outstanding guest services to enhance overall experience
- Develop and implement operational procedures, safety protocols, and service standards aligned with industry best practices
- Prepare reports on sales performance, operational metrics, and staff productivity to inform management decisions
Requirements
- Proven experience in bike shop management or related roles within hospitality or outdoor recreation environments
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated success in staff supervision and team management
- Excellent communication skills for effective managerial decision-making and guest interactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for report writing and administrative tasks
- Experience in event management or coordinating group activities involving bikes or outdoor recreation is highly desirable
- Knowledge of operational management principles including budgeting, cash handling, and resource allocation
- Familiarity with technical aspects of bikes for maintenance oversight; first aid and CPR certification preferred
- Previous experience working at an event venue or resort environment is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
