Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Repair Technician to join our team in a climate-controlled shop that ensures a comfortable working environment. Enjoy weekends off and the opportunity to earn a competitive salary within the range of $75,000 to $150,000 annually. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of vehicles with state-of-the-art tools and technology, emphasizing quality repairs and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automotive electrical systems, engines, transmissions, and powertrain components.
- Utilize schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on diesel engines, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely and effectively.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems efficiently.
- Maintain detailed repair logs, service reports, and ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or extensive automotive repair background with a focus on electrical systems and diagnostics.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive engine systems, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, diesel engine repair, and automotive wiring diagram interpretation is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques required for vehicle repairs.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward clients and team members.
- Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training; ASE certification is a plus.
