Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Subcontractor to join our team for various residential electrical upgrades. The ideal candidate will possess strong residential electrical experience, with proficiency in reading schematics, using hand and power tools, and working safely on construction sites. This role offers an opportunity to work on projects that require technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot residential electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment effectively
- Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Perform framing carpentry tasks as needed for electrical installations
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment on construction sites
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to project specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician in residential settings
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, blueprints, and NEC regulations
- Experience with low voltage and high voltage electrical work
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices
- Construction site experience with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Experience with frame carpentry related to electrical installations is a plus
- Must be able to work independently
- Residential Wireman/Journeyman license required
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per day
