We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller/ Senior Accounting professional to lead our financial management. This pivotal role combines overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving organizational growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in financial concepts including budgeting, Job costing, and financial analysis. Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- In coordination with external CPA, ensure compliance with tax-basis accounting, federal and state tax regulations and payroll/wage-hour law.
- Oversee financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management to support strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with Purchasing and Operations teams to ensure accurate project costing.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including regulatory reporting and internal financial statements.
- Maintain robust internal controls and perform regular audits to ensure integrity of financial data.
- Utilize accounting software like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft Power Platform Microsoft Office/Excel, Gathr to streamline financial operations and ensure data accuracy.
- Supervise, mentor, and coordinate a small team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting roles with expertise in corporate accounting, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, or public accounting environments.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, account analysis, and account reconciliation.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance requirements, and relevant financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial report writing is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cash flow, budgeting processes, and financial forecasting effectively.

Pay: $85,616.33 - $99,064.82 per year
