Here at Alexander Party Rentals we supply nearly every type of party you can imagine. From small & large tents, to tables, chairs, dishes & linens, we rent it! We are looking for Drivers who can safely and efficiently operate 26' non-cdl box trucks. Our drivers typically operate with 2 driver helpers and assist or lead the assembly of pre-fab structures and delivery of rental product.
You will learn or may already have the skills to do the following:
- Assemble tenting, sizes range from ten feet square and all the way up into hundreds.
- Install electric devices in the tents, this ranges from heaters to fans and lighting.
- Operate equipment such as: forklifts, front end loader, roto-hammers, winches, and pallet jacks.
- Professionally represent the company to customers at job sites.
- Work as a team, to overcome obstacles and troubleshoot problems effectively/efficiently.
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs, as well as engineer solutions to a wide variety of structures and rental equipment.
- Install Staging & Pipe & Drape, and more.
With our warehouse conveniently located in Kent, WA we are in a prime location to efficiently deliver and pickup our equipment throughout the northwest. This is accomplished through the safe operation of 16’ & 26’ box trucks. We are a family owned, multi-generational business and are looking for the right people to join our successful team.
Qualifications we are looking for, include:
- Please bring a copy of your driving abstract
- DOT Medical card
- At least 1 year experience in the rental industry (preferred)
- Ability to safely lift 75lbs
- Weekend availability with flexible schedule
- Self-motivated individuals that require little to no supervision
- Customer service experience
- Job site or construction experience in the assembly of structures and equipment
- Ability to reach, bend squat and push with repetition
- Must have had a license for minimum of 3 years.
Compensation & Benefits
- $26.00 Starting Wage
- Seasonal Position with opportunity to stay on after season.(May-October)
