Job Title: Automotive Maintenance and Repair Technician (A, B, and Master Level)
Location: All Tech Automotive East Fort Collins, CO (In-Person)
Status: Full-Time
Pay Range: 28.00 to 45.00 per hour, depending on experience and certification level
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Reports To: Shop Manager or Service Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to perform accurate inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on cars and light-duty trucks. The ideal candidate values quality work, safety, clear communication, and teamwork in a professional shop environment.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnostic and Repair Work
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide clear repair plans.
- Assist with estimating labor times and identifying parts.
- Service and repair major vehicle systems including brakes, cooling, electrical, emissions, fuel, driveline, transmission, engine, HVAC, steering, and suspension
- Use diagnostic tools and compare results with manufacturer specifications
- Test drive vehicles to confirm repair accuracy
Technical and Shop Standards
- Follow manufacturer procedures and industry best practices.
- Maintain a minimum productivity rate of 75 percent.
- Use shop equipment safely and correctly
- Report equipment or property damage immediately
Safety, Compliance, and Cleanliness
- Wear required safety gear and follow OSHA, city, and county rules
- Follow company policies and standard procedures
- Keep work areas clean and help maintain an organized shop
Customer and Team Support
- Communicate clearly with customers and service staff about diagnostics and repairs
- Support fellow technicians and contribute to a positive team environment
- Attend safety meetings, company meetings, and training including ASE opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical school training, or two to five years of experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform diagnostic math
- Valid driver’s license and required insurance
- Acceptable driving record
- ASE certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Must have personal tools
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shop regularly.
- Lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Work around moving mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, and moderate noise levels.
- Occasional outdoor exposure and vibration.
