Duties
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team to perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance across all facility systems
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or upgrades, ensuring quality standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, ordering proactively to avoid delays in maintenance activities
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, work orders, and safety inspections for compliance purposes
- Conduct safety audits and enforce adherence to health and safety regulations to create a secure working environment
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC issues swiftly to minimize operational disruptions
Skills
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance management or a similar leadership role within industrial or commercial settings
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and building automation technology
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills for coordinating with team members, vendors, and management
- Ability to analyze technical problems quickly and develop practical solutions
- Certifications such as EPA 608 (for HVAC), OSHA safety training, or equivalent are highly desirable
- Proficiency with maintenance management software or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
