Training Manager
Role Summary
The Training Manager owns the training calendar, training center logistics, and systems-of-record accuracy for all scheduled events. This role is the operational hub that keeps the training pipeline synchronized across Airtable, Jira, the LMS, and the public-facing website, and ensures compliance documentation gets submitted on time.
This role is distinct from the Instructor Manager, who owns the instructors themselves. The Training Manager owns the calendar, the facilities, and the logistics around a training event. Reports to the Director of Training Operations.

Align the training event pipeline with the long-range calendar, coordinating with the Director of Training Operations and the Instructor Manager

Add dates and events to all systems of record, including Jira, Airtable, and the instructor schedule

Synchronize systems of record so calendar data stays consistent across platforms

Close out weekly trainings in Airtable, Jira, the LMS, and other systems of record

Manage all training facilities and track training equipment across locations, including the Warehouse, Swannanoa, VIEW Center, TEC, and Retrotec

Track and submit pre- and post-training notifications for all Lead classes to the correct governing body (NC, EPA, VT)

Collect and submit documentation for BPI and EA house certification as required

Order BPI exams and maintain adequate inventory

Notify Marketing of class changes, sell-outs, or cancellations so the website can be updated accordingly

Update WAP dashboards with any training changes

Communicate internally about upcoming trainings, available capacity, and training criteria

Consolidate and send out rosters for invoicing each month, as needed

Create training resources as needed, including PDF calendars, resource lists, and training visuals

Manage knowledge management systems, ensuring updates are entered consistently

Project management skills, with the ability to keep multiple training events, deadlines, and moving pieces on track at once

Extreme organization and attention to detail

Creativity and a willingness to find solutions when logistics get complicated

Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar)

Comfort learning and working across multiple systems of record (Airtable, Jira, the LMS)

Strong written and verbal communication, since this role coordinates regularly with Marketing, WAP agencies, and compliance bodies
