About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our thriving floral business. Based in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, this role requires relocation to the Caribbean and a commitment of 3-5 years. This role requires management of both the retail and events sectors of our business, ensuring that proper attention is given where needed.
- Key duties of the role include:
· Team management - including scheduling, assigning tasks/duties, helping team members to reach full potential
· Retail management - Driving growth in our busy boutique through strategic management and attention to detail
· Buying - Purchasing of flowers for events and retail. Retail purchasing of dry goods for Flowers By EA boutique
· Event Production - From initial client meetings, through to quoting, budgeting, purchasing, designing, installation and tear-down, the manager will be responsible for all aspects of events production
Ideal applicant:
· Previous experience managing a team
· Previous experience managing a retail business
· Previous experience managing florals for large-scale events and weddings
· Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage time effectively
· Excellent eye for design – visual merchandising and floral design
· Computer literacy – Gmail, Microsoft docs, Google drive etc
· Excellent sales knowledge
· A full, clean driving license is essential to this role
Hours of Work:
There are no normal working hours for this role. Weekends will be busy. A typical work week in TCI is 44 hours.
