Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hairdresser to join our dedicated team at Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a 2013 recipient of The American Healthcare Association / National Center For Assisted Living Bronze Quality Award. As a Hairdresser, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall well-being and appearance of our residents, providing exceptional hair, skin, and nail care services. This is a part-time opportunity to join our team in Titusville, Pennsylvania, where we have been providing quality healthcare services for over 40 years.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality hair, skin, and nail care services to residents, including cutting, styling, coloring, and shaving
Develop and maintain relationships with residents, understanding their unique needs and preferences
Maintain a clean and organized salon environment, adhering to infection control protocols and high standards of hygiene
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, attending training sessions and workshops as needed
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of our services and facilities
Requirements:
Hairdresser license and certification
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in cosmetology or a related field preferred
Part-time schedule, with flexibility to adapt to changing resident needs
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
