Kiddie Academy of Urbandale opened in May 2022, and we’re growing fast! We’re looking for passionate and dedicated early childhood educators to join our team. Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff
- Communicate daily with families and team members
- Support academy cleanliness and tidiness through light cleaning tasks
- Follow Kiddie Academy’s policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a child care or early childhood education setting preferred
- Understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive, creative, and energetic attitude
- Dependable and organized with strong moral values
