ASSEMBLER AND FITTER WELDER
Mechanical Aptitude a plus, also any auto body repair experience will be considered.
Responsibilities: Finishing our wire mesh into conveyor belts.
- Trim uneven edges of mesh. Must have good hand dexterity and strength to trim and cut mesh.
- Tack Welding of spiral to connecting rod to create a finished smooth mesh edge.
- Tack Welding additional components to the conveyor belt, chain, rods, plate edges, bars, fixtures to conveyor belt by welding, bolting, and various other methods.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- This job is 70% prep work and assembly and 30% welding to finish.
SKILLS:
- Fabrication and Welding Experience. Light welding mostly tig but some oxy gas.
- Strong hand strength. Edges of wire mesh need to be trimmed (sizes from small wire .025" up to .325" diameter).
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
