Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Back Office Clinical Supervisor/ Certified Medical Assistant, to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. This position involves providing medical administrative support, assisting with patient care, and maintaining a high standard of service in a fast-paced environment. Candidate with marketing experience will be a plus.
Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform basic life support as needed and ensure patient safety during treatments.
- Administer medications under the supervision of licensed practitioners.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in the office.
- Provide support for various specialties including internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and outpatient services.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Supervise and collaborate with medical staff to enhance patient service and satisfaction. Supervise the entire back office operation including
- Has experience in drawing blood
- Call in prescriptions to pharmacy
- Sell additional services that are offered in the office
Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical-surgical procedures and protocols is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Level I Trauma Center protocols is a plus.
- Experience in medication administration and understanding of outpatient care practices is desired.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
