PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To clean dishes, pots and pans, glassware, silverware, and any other wares by hand or machine. To follow daily sanitation cleaning schedule for walls, floors, other surfaces, and equipment. To assist with some food preparation.
The person in this role is also expected to:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Maintain the kitchen and dining area floors using the proper floor cleaning procedures.

Cleaning of all pots and pans, glassware, plate ware, flatware, and all other wares by hand or use of commercial dishwashing machine.

Transport clean and dried wares to their proper location throughout dining areas and kitchen.

Cleans working areas and equipment in kitchen.

Removal of all trash and recyclables, including: cardboard boxes, mixed recycling bins, and glass using correct disposal guidelines.
- Maintenance of trash receptacles including cleaning and relining the trashcans.

Maintenance of the rear dock area including sweeping, and trash removal.

Maintenance of the dumpster area and the recycling are including sweeping and closing of all dumpster doors and trashcan lids.

Follow Daily Sanitation Cleaning List schedule.
- Assist in breakdown and cleanup of Special Events.

All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
-
1 year experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 40 libs

Manual dexterity to lift pans, pots, etc.

Stand/Walk for extended lengths of time
