Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a contract opportunity in Bronx, NY. The CNA will work closely with nurses and the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care while ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
- Support patient mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations
- Report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff promptly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families
- Follow infection control procedures and facility safety protocols
- Accurately document patient care and daily activities
- Collaborate effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Active New York State CNA Certification required
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 1+ years of CNA experience required
- Experience in LTC, rehab, skilled nursing, or acute care settings preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Flexible to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
