We’re looking to hire a Resident Transportation Coordinator at Fair Havens Senior Living. This position provides safe and supportive transportation to and from medical appointments and scheduled outings. It’s a role that offers direct interaction with the residents and their families.
Position Responsibilities:
- Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, social events, and scheduled outings.
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents to help them feel informed and comfortable.
- Ensure a clean, well-maintained, and safe vehicle at all times.
- Provide reliable, timely service while maintaining a strong focus on resident safety and dignity.
- Follow all local and state driving laws and facility protocols.
- In between appointments, maintain supplies by putting away weekly order and stocking supply closets.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a current state certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Illinois driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Friendly, organized, and dependable, with a strong sense of confidentiality.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist residents as needed.
- Ability to work compassionately and effectively with residents.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory guidelines.
