Ridgeview Elementary is seeking a long-term substitue teacher for a Kindergarten classroom to cover a temporary absence while the teacher is out on maternity leave. This position will involve a classroom of our youngest learners. This position will run from October through the end of December 2026.
Position Responsibilities:
~Teach the Kindergarten Curriculum, use pacing guides, and instructional resources.
~Deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons that support a range of learners.
~Utilize technology effectively, including PowerSchool and Google Classroom to manage assignments, assessments, and communication.
~Collaborate with the Kindergarten Team.
~Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that supports student learning and accountability.
~Carry out all standard teacher responsibilities, including attendance, grading, supervision, and communication with students and families as needed.
~Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
