IVEK Corporation is seeking a dependable, self-motivated team player for our Quality Department. The Quality Assurance Associate will be responsible for checking outgoing shipments for accuracy and preparing all associated paperwork required by the customer. This person will also be responsible for reviewing discrepant material, working with the Quality and Manufacturing Engineers on part issues and assisting in other incoming and Outgoing QA duties. This position will also write up and assist with reviewing and providing guidance with Quality (Everest) concerns.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect outgoing products and maintain final inspection documentation.
- Maintain all quality assurance inspection equipment in proper working order.
- Maintain log detailing failures on Finals.
- Perform calibrations, including recording of calibration results and activities.
- Schedules On-site External Calibrations and Prepares External Calibrations for shipment.
Recommend improvements through the use of Everest software and DCR/N’s.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with review and improvements to internal and external Everest concerns.
- Review and document discrepant material failures and work with suppliers on corrective actions.
- Work with consultants and other outside vendors associated with quality standards.
- Provide support for IVEK’s quality system, including customer complaints, failure logs and RMA warranty issues.
Education and Experience:
- College degree preferred (High School graduate minimum).
- Technical background with experience in mechanical assembly manufacturing.
- 3-5 years related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Organized and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Inspection abilities using mechanical and electrical measuring and test equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer Skills including use of Microsoft Office, GAGEpack, Everest, and Macola, desirable.
