Experienced Medical Aesthetician
Adoro Medical Spa, a highly respected, successful Severna Park based medical Spa & cosmetic eyelid surgery practice is seeking an experienced, highly personable, polished full time or part time licensed Medical Aesthetician.
Candidate will lead the total skin rejuvenation program for all patients utilizing HydraFacial’s, Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, etc., performing comprehensive skin-evaluations and prescribing medical grade skin care regimens to all patients of the practice. This candidate will also assist the provider(s) with clinical flow.

Qualifications:
- Current aesthetician with aesthetician license in good standing as required by state regulations
- At least 1 year experience performing advanced skincare treatments
- Understanding and treating skin conditions such as acne, rosacea and melasma
- Strong knowledge of skincare products, treatment protocols, client assessment, and post-treatment care
- Adhere to state and local licensing laws and regulations
- Provide world class experience to our patients by performing top-level services
- Design and prescribe progressive treatment plans, including homecare regimens, based on the patients individual skincare goals
- Create an excellent experience through your friendly and helpful attitude
- Effectively communicate with patients, spa management, and staff
- Participate in hands-on training as well as workshops and webinars
- Experience with practice management software and word processing applications
- Comfortable using email and interacting with Internet applications
- A “can-do” attitude, showing initiative and willingness to adapt to change
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Neat, professional, polished appearance
- Able to understand patient concerns and handle them appropriately
- Proven ability to handle upscale clientele and maintain high standards in patient care and confidentiality.
- Reliable transportation, punctual, and accountable.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit.
- Takes accurate patient photos
- Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; reporting patient history summary, and preparing patient for treatment/consult.
- Supports Physician by assisting with in-office procedures
- Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential.
- Counsels patients by transmitting physician's orders and questions about procedures
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Prepares patients charts for upcoming appointments
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
- Serves and protects the ophthalmology/cosmetic practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
- Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Provide Concierge-level service and be highly responsive to all patient needs.
- Perform professional aesthetic treatments including:
- Customized facials
- Hydrafacial treatments
- Chemical peels
- Acne treatments
- Dermaplaning
- LED light therapy
- Lymphatic massage
- Post-procedure skincare care and education
- Conduct thorough skin consultations and assessments
- Recommend personalized skincare regimens and treatment plans
- Educate clients on pre-care and post-care instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely charting/documentation
- Ensure treatment rooms remain clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Follow all infection control, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with clients
- Support treatment plan conversions and package sales
- Recommend medical-grade skincare products appropriately
- Assist with membership, package, and promotional sales
- Maintain high client satisfaction and retention
- Deliver a luxury, welcoming, and elevated client experience
