Position Summary:
As the Office Manager you work under the direction of the Vice President of Construction Maintenance Services. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the business office functions for the departments the VP oversees, which include the daily operations and financial functions of the department.
The position’s main objective is to assist in facilitating day-to-day operations at the Construction Maintenance office, Sleepy Creek Farms and Fleet Maintenance. Responsibilities include data entry of various orders, documents received throughout the organization, and employee relations within the departments. The candidate will mostly be working in an office setting and using computer equipment & data entry.
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm. 40 hr. workweek with paid lunch.

Key Responsibilities of the Job:
- Ability to multi-task, strong computer skills, excellent teamwork, communication, and record keeping skills.
- Manage inventory and supply chain operations to achieve timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
- Apply proper billing codes to invoices and verify accuracy of invoices.
- HR-related tasks such as, but not limited to:
employee relations
monitor and record work hours for all employees in the respective departments
Track and manage employee vacations days used and remaining
- Communicates and implements office policies and procedures.
- Monitoring and ordering (online and/or at retails) inventory for office and break room supplies
- Regular maintenance and restocking of breakroom.
- Collecting and distributing mail
- Assisting with personal tasks of the proprietor and/or the executive team.
Educational, Physical and Other Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred with at least 2 years of experience.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills Required.
- Data Entry Skills
- Detail-oriented
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Office 365 Required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred, but not required.
- Able to regularly to stoop, kneel, bend, reach overhead, crouch and lift 50 pounds.
- Possess a valid and current driver's license and have a clean driving record.
- Able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods time
- Able to safely walk on uneven surfaces.
- Able to travel < 25% of the time
*This position comes with a company vehicle.
Pay: $21.00 per hour
