Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a box truck and navigating routes efficiently. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to customers. Long haul 13 hours days and weekends mandatory.
Duties:
- Load and unload products from refrigerated trailers into our warehouse.
- Operate a forklift to move products within the warehouse as needed.
- Drive a van or other vehicle to deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
- Plan and execute delivery routes to meet customer expectations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being courteous and friendly during interactions.
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of products as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and warehouse environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier.
- Ability to operate a van or other vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers and warehouse operations.
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
- Experience with route driving and navigating unfamiliar areas.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting and moving.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
