Position Summary
This position supports the paint line production by performing non-painting skills such as hanging and removing parts from the line. Utility employees may train to be a painter.
Key Responsibilities
Pick up parts from pallet, extend arms up to reach paintline hooks and hang parts on the paintline.
- Visually inspect painted parts for adequate paint coverage and damage.
- Remove painted parts from paint line and stack onto a pallet.
- Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
- Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements.
- Ability to work with chemicals, solvents and lubricants.
- Maintain work area in clean orderly condition, performs preventative maintenance and follows prescribed safety procedures.
- Must have a working command of the English language, and be able to communicate orally and in writing.
- Count and enter information into computer.
Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties
- Minimum 10 th grade
- No prior experience required
